Hello, my name is Mrs. Larson. I am the teacher/principal at Enterprise Adventist School. I received a BA degree from Ottawa University, Ottawa Kansas, in 2009. I have been teaching since August of 2010. I taught in Tulsa Oklahoma, at Zion school, from 2010-2011 in a one- room style classroom with 15 students in 1-8th grade. In 2011, I moved to Tulsa Adventist Academy where I taught 5th -6th grade for two years and then moved to the Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom for two years. I have been teaching here at Enterprise Adventist School since 2015.
Prior to getting my degree and teaching in a school classroom, I worked as a childcare teacher at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Mission Kansas. With this experience, I have taught children from infants to 8th grade.
My husband and I have three grown children, and five grandchildren. Some of the simple pleasures in life for us is to spend time walking in nature, visiting our children and grandchildren, reading a good book, and making bread.
I enjoy teaching in a Christian school, as I am able to help my students grow both spiritually and academically. One of my favorite memories is seeing my 7th and 8th grade students give a sermon at church. I relish seeing young people involved in church and presenting a Christ centered message. I love my students and I love teaching.
