Hello, my name is Mrs. Larson. I am the teacher/principal at Enterprise Adventist School. I received a BA degree from Ottawa University, Ottawa Kansas, in 2009. I have been teaching since August of 2010. I taught in Tulsa Oklahoma, at Zion school, from 2010-2011 in a one- room style classroom with 15 students in 1-8th grade. In 2011, I moved to Tulsa Adventist Academy where I taught 5th -6th grade for two years and then moved to the Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom for two years. I have been teaching here at Enterprise Adventist School since 2015.
Prior to getting my degree and teaching in a school classroom, I worked as a childcare teacher at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Mission Kansas. With this experience, I have taught children from infants to 8th grade.
My husband and I have three grown children, and five grandchildren. Some of the simple pleasures in life for us is to spend time walking in nature, visiting our children and grandchildren, walking on the beach when we are near one, reading a good book, and baking.
I enjoy teaching in a Christian school, as I am able to help my students grow both scholastically and spiritually. One of my favorite memories is seeing my 7th and 8th grade students give a sermon at church. I relish seeing young people involved in church and presenting a Christ centered message. I love my students and I love teaching.
